About FIT Personal Training & Group Fitness
Jodi Labban
FIT Personal Training and Group Fitness evolved out of the passions of owner, Jodi Labban.
Jodi has spent her entire life in the world of health and fitness. As a child, Jodi competed in gymnastics, track and cheerleading. Additionally, she always enjoyed playing just about any sport from flag football to tennis to basketball. Exercise, whether consciously or subconsciously, has always played a significant roll in her life. In college, her passion for health exploded when she became an aerobics instructor and trainer. After years in corporate America, this married mother of 2 found her way back to her passion. Again, she began working as a personal trainer. As she built her book of clients over the last 11 years, she has found herself working with a variety of people: teen athletes, active adults and simply those on a journey to improve their quality of life through fitness. Jodi's passion is truly to help each individual discover their inner strengths and help them to bring out the best in themselves. To find complete health, Jodi firmly believes that if a person strives to improve their health on the inside then the benefits of that will come through physically. "Balance is key to success in any program. You must start slow and make small changes in order to make lifestyle changes that will stay with you forever." She strives for each client to find the 3B's in life... Balance, Breathe and Believe.

Mary Waugh
I am the founder and owner of Mary Waugh Fitness. Prior to my 200 hour yoga teacher training, I earned a B.S. in Biology at University of South Florida. I got married to Adam Waugh and together we had 4 children. I stayed home and homeschooled my children and found the discipline and organization skills I learned during my undergrad work allowed me to keep track of educating 4 children in 4 different grade levels. I was also a runner who enjoyed signing up for races as a way to give myself a reason to wake up early in the morning to log my miles. In 2013, I ran an ultra marathon that led me to yoga. The intense training I put myself through to prepare for my 62 mile race was too demanding on my body in a short period of time. After the race, I could hardly walk for several weeks. My friend and running buddy suggested I do yoga as a way to heal so that I could once again put on my running shoes and resume logging running miles. I took her advice to do yoga and I haven't turned back. I found healing in my body through yoga and unexpectedly this healing spread into other areas of my life. My love for health, the knowledge I gained through training for races and a desire to share what I learned during those years of healing, led me to get certified as a personal trainer, become a 200hour Registered Yoga Teacher at The Lotus Pond and continue on to my 500hour certification. I am certified to teach Restorative Yoga, received training in yoga for the cancer population. My teaching style merges my fitness training and my yoga practice that allows my classes to be challenging yet mindful. My yoga influences are my lead teachers at The Lotus Pond, my master teacher, Karen Stephan; and through reading their published work, B.K.S. Iyengar, and the anatomy teachings of David Keil.
